A dynamic cohort of seniors at P-Tech Norwalk High School has taken the reins as mentors and role models for incoming freshmen, spearheading the BOSS Academy course.
Selected for their leadership qualities, these seniors are championing the BOSS Academy initiative, aimed at guiding and inspiring the next generation of students. Under the guidance of Principal Victor Black and Assistant Principal Beth Furnari, BOSS Academy is on track to become an integral part of the school’s culture.
Principal Black commented, “I envision BOSS Academy as an essential component of our school’s culture, fostering leadership and empowerment among our students.”
The impact of BOSS Academy is palpable, with classrooms buzzing during advisory periods as seniors lead engaging sessions for their younger peers. Following extensive training last school year, these seniors are now equipped to facilitate the BOSS Academy curriculum effectively.
